"Ghost we fear the most"

Films: Beyond Evil (1980)

Alias: None

Type: Mystical

Location: Haunted Home

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Hatred can live well after one's final breath. And sometimes, that's all one needs to persist forever. It makes for a good haunting for any house or castle.

History: About a century ago, Castle Fortuna was host to the death of Alma Martin, who was poisoned by her cheating husband. Despite this, her spirit remained in the castle, hoping one day to find a body to reincarnate into. She got her prayers answered when some newlyweds bought the place. Now, she just needed to possess the wife.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: Eventually, the husband manages to slip back on his wife's wedding ring onto her. It is this act to true love that causes Alma to lose control of her host, and get sent back to the afterlife.

Powers/Abilities: Aside from possession, Alma can use telekinesis and shoot laser beams from her eyes.

Weakness: A true act of devotion for the one she possesses is the antithesis to what led to Alma's original demise. Thus, her influence will dissipate because of it.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-It's never fun to have a vengeful spirit tormenting you. But in all seriousness, Alma's a bit of a weak shot. Aside from laughable special effects, her eye beams are about the only thing that make her unique.

Trivia: -Alma was played by Janice Lynde, who's previous career included a part in the Dallas Symphony at 10 years old, and some Broadway credits.

-In spite of this film's (ostensibly) serious tone, it got distributed by Troma Entertainment. You know, THOSE guys.

Repeating the title, however, seems to be working.
